I lived in Culross till I was 1 year old. I came back each summer to stay with my grandparents. I remember buildings black with the stour of centuries. I remember gray clouds that strained the light. Today the causeway stones gleam, the mercat cross sports baskets of gay geraniums, the walls sparkle with whitewash and 10th-Century saffronwash.

A lovely photo Elaine, Lady Bugs are so pretty with their spots, we have red and orange coloured here. ♡
Thank you, Dianne, I have heard of the orange ones. Thank you for visiting again and saying hello!
