I lived in Culross till I was 1 year old. I came back each summer to stay with my grandparents. I remember buildings black with the stour of centuries. I remember gray clouds that strained the light. Today the causeway stones gleam, the mercat cross sports baskets of gay geraniums, the walls sparkle with whitewash and 10th-Century saffronwash.

Thats a lovely photo Elaine, I like how the light is shining down and accentuating the features of her face, the colours and shapes. ♡
There is an award for you over at my blog. ♡
Thanks, Dianne. I enjoy finding one shape that attracts me in a photo and then doing what I can to bring that out so that others can see the possibility that I glimpsed.
Thanks for the award. I love it and will pick it up soon! This is my first blog award!
You are welcome Elaine dear, I was fortunate to get a friends award and I wanted to share it...thanks for putting it in your sidebar. ♡
